URBAN DESIGN MINUTES FOR MAY 24, 2006
The minutes for the Urban Design Commission meeting on May 24th, at which the UDC granted initial approval to the proposal for the Midvale Plaza redevelopment, are available online.
MADISON COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
The Madison Comprehensive Plan, which is being used to justify the density proposed for the Midvale Plaza redevelopment, is available online.
URBAN DESIGN COMMISSION COMMMENTS FROM MAY 3, 2006 MEETING
The UDC has posted its minutes for the May 3, 2006, meeting, including its comments on the Midvale Plaza proposal.
NEIGHBORHOOD CONSERVATION OVERLAY DISTRICT
The draft ordinance below is being considered by the City of Madison. The ordinance would seek to preserve the nature of defined neighborhoods and prevent unsympathetic development. This could be useful in requesting a more neighborhood-friendly design for the new Midvale Plaza.
